Since this has been a “Banner Year” we thought it would be fun to have you create your own banner to share! Jana Eubank inspired us with a “Love” banner for a shower or wedding decor in the April Circle Magazine. Use her inspiration to create your own banner. You can decorate a room, hang one up for a party, or create a small one to top a cake!
Challenge Rules:
Create any sort of banner you would like, just make sure to incorporate at least 4 Cricut Cuts. Please upload a working link or picture of your project to the blog under the Magazine Challenge tab. Since last month was so much fun seeing how many entries we had, we are doing it again.
My final project for the week is for the Cricut Circle Blog monthly challenge.
I chose to make my Dad a Fathers Day banner, I used ball chain instead of ribbon to hang the pennants.
I kept it pretty simple and it did not take long to pull it all together. I also used my Cuttlebug Crown Rosette die that you see as a frame for the letters. This was my first time using this die and I love it! I can see myself using it a great deal in the future. I do have Ribbons and Rosettes but I couldn't get the settings correct and kept tearing the vellum. I'm sure it was because I was in a hurry to finish.
