Sketch by Janet Wilkens Jan 2012 Issue
My entry for this challenge was inspired by my dad. He sent me a late Valentines day gift this year, vintage poodle figurines he found at a flea market.
I have been collecting them for about five years and I can't get enough.
I'm pretty sure I'm obsessed! Ebay certainly loves me...
I wanted to make him a card as a thank you but ended up making a page for his scrapbook.
I'm thinking I need to add something to make this layout pop but my creative side has shut down for the moment.
This is my Dad with his grand doggie, my real "poodle".
Some of my attempts to get this right. I went through many color combos and texture mediums before settling on the the aqua and the fur.
Poodle love from Dad.
Reassuring Note from Dad. This made my day LOL. He is the best dad ever!
Cartridges I used were Mickey Font, Paper Pups, Locker Talk, and Twinkletoes.
I saw your layout on the Circle blog and wanted to check it out. It is so cute, I love the little poodles. You did a great job. I am a new follower of your blog and am looking forward to more of your creations!
